Gyno-Mycolex with Miconazole is a localized treatment designed to clear vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis). If you are experiencing symptoms like intense itching, soreness, or thick, white, odorless discharge, this medication works by inhibiting the growth of the fungus directly at the source. This 400mg pessary (vaginal tablet) is designed for insertion, providing fast-acting relief where you need it most.

Important Warnings & Safety Precautions

• • Confirm Your Diagnosis: Use only if you are confident these symptoms match a previous yeast infection. If this is your first infection, or if you have frequent recurring infections (more than 4 per year), please consult a doctor to rule out other conditions like Bacterial Vaginosis or STIs.

  • Contraceptive Warning: Miconazole may weaken latex or rubber. Avoid relying on condoms or diaphragms for birth control or STI protection during treatment and for at least 3 days after completion, as the medication may cause them to break.

  • Medication Interactions: If you are currently taking Warfarin (blood-thinning medication), consult your doctor before use, as intravaginal miconazole may occasionally increase the risk of bleeding.

  • During Your Period: Avoid internal use during your menstrual cycle, as the flow can flush out the medication before it is absorbed. Use the external cream only, or wait until your period ends to begin the pessary treatment.
