Lydia Postpill is a single-dose emergency contraceptive pill formulated to prevent ovulation and fertilization when your regular contraception fails or unprotected intercourse occurs. It works best when taken within 72 hours (3 days), with the highest efficacy achieved within the first 24 hours.

Important Warnings & Safety Precautions

• Emergency Use Only: Lydia Postpill is an emergency backup and is not intended to replace regular, long-term birth control. Frequent use can reduce efficacy and disrupt your regular cycle.

• Does Not Protect Against STIs: Emergency contraceptive pills do not provide protection against HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted infections.

• Ectopic Pregnancy Caution: If you experience severe lower abdominal pain, unusual vaginal bleeding, or weakness after taking this medication, seek immediate medical attention. If the pill fails, there is a risk of an ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy occurring outside the womb).

• Drug Interactions: Certain medications can make levonorgestrel less effective. Talk to a pharmacist if you are currently taking other medications.
